Hundreds of people are once again being fired by TSN Thuiszorg, the largest home care organization in the Netherlands. “The situation is not in the interest of the clients. The way the cuts are being implemented are extremely damaging.”
According to the government, budget cuts are inevitable to keep healthcare affordable. Many municipalities are unwilling or no longer able to finance healthcare institutions. TSN suffers a loss of millions for the third consecutive year. About 1,500 employees have now been laid off.
