For the first time, Sony comes with a PlayStation 5 software beta program. The Japanese tech giant needs your help with this.
This is an interesting development. PlayStation asks the public for help. At least, the Japanese tech giant has started a software beta program. Ordinary mortals the chance to test new software on the PS5. The testers then have to provide feedback to Sony, for example about any bugs.

Unfortunately, the Netherlands is not part of the test programme. Only residents of the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany and France are eligible to participate. The only thing is that you are 18 years or older, of course have a PlayStation 5, have a PlayStation Network ID and access to the internet.
Testers get an early version of new software. The software contains new features that the guinea pigs can try out. If everything is approved, a public rollout of the software update will follow.
Anyone interested can sign up sign up with Sony for the PlayStation software beta program. The tech company then chooses a number of lucky ones. The selected testers can expect an email from Sony in the inbox. There is no reward or anything of that nature. So you do it for the ‘honour’ and a pat on the head from Sony.
