PlayStation presented a new PlayStation 5 controller at Gamescom. The Dual Sense Edge!
For the first time, a customizable controller has been released by Sony for the PlayStation 5. This new controller will co-exist with the console’s usual DualSense controller.
The sensitivity of the buttons can be adjusted to your own taste. You can also adjust the height of the joysticks. In this way, the controller can be completely adjusted to your own liking.
You can recognize the new DualSense Edge by its different colors compared to a regular controller. For the rest, the controller looks quite similar to the original model. For example, charging is done just like with the regular controller via USB-C.
It is not yet known what the new controller will cost. You can get a regular PlayStation 5 controller for about seven bucks. Don’t be surprised if the suggested retail price of this DualSense Edge is 100 euros or more. Hopefully the quality of this copy is okay. In the past, Sony has already received many complaints regarding the DualSense. Think of vibration motors that make a lot of noise or buttons that quickly break.
The unveiling of the controller took place at Gamescom. The event in Germany is currently underway. Check out the video below to see the controller in detail.
