Friday August 27: orange day
Friday promises to be complicated across the country and more specifically in Ile-de-France. Here are Bison Futé’s traffic tips:
- return to or cross the Île-de-France before 2 p.m.
- avoid the A10 between Bordeaux and Orléans, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- avoid the A11 between Nantes and Angers, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- avoid the A7 between Orange and Lyon, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and between Marseille and Salon-de-Provence, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- avoid the A9 between Narbonne and Orange, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- avoid the A62 between Toulouse and Agen, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- avoid the A63 between Spain and Bayonne, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The return to France via the Mont-Blanc tunnel (N205) will be very busy from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (wait longer than 1 hour). Traffic will be critical between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (wait longer than 2 hours).
