It’s called Stranger Nights Epic, a movie made entirely on a Samsung Galaxy S22 as a tribute to Stranger Things.
Currently Netflix of course under the spell of Stranger Things. We are in the transition from volume 1 to volume 2. Samsung is riding on the success of the series by making its own tribute to Stranger Things. The tech company does this with a film made on the Samsung Galaxy S22.
The film was shot with the advanced Nightography camera function. The short film offers with the op Stranger Things inspired theme is a perfect starting point to show the possibilities of the function. In season 4 of Stranger Things In the evening a portal opens to a strange world. The S22 Ultra recreates this atmosphere and shows with a cinematic story how Nightography captures exactly what would otherwise have remained invisible in the dark.
In Make STRANGER Nights Epic a girl with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in her back pocket is cycling to a party at a friends house, where they all Stranger Things 4 go watch. While on the road, the phone’s video recording turns on accidentally. This allows her to capture on image what is behind her in The Upside Down dimension. All vertical scenes were filmed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra1†
The short film also shows how the Nightography feature of the Galaxy S22 Ultra works. The camera has a 108MP main camera and a 2.4um pixel sensor with AI.
It doesn’t stop there. In the future, Samsung and Netflix will continue to work together to create fun content.
