The French love the English
In terms of sports cars, the English know how to offer beautiful machines that are always more efficient. Aston Martin manages to match Lamborghini in number of products placed in this Top 30. It can however say a big thank you to Mercedes-AMG for its engines. As for Jaguar and McLaren, they are each represented by two models with very different objectives: the 720S and 765LT are seen more as beasts of the circuit than the F-Type.
And in the end, Germany wins…
No. 1 – Porsche 911 Coupé: 370 ex.
German models are not over-represented, but this does not prevent Porsche from winning the bet, with its 911. The Zuffenhausen sports car displays, it is true, a range to make a general practitioner green with its 21 versions, including the very latest GT3. Audi is struggling to sell its R8 in a convertible version, as is Mercedes-AMG, which has managed to sell 30 GT coupes more than the GT roadster.
