After having signed the return of diesel on its Clio with the 100 hp Blue dCi, available only in the Intens finish, Renault is adding the engine to the Limited series. The latter therefore becomes more accessible, from € 21,450 instead of the € 23,500 requested previously.
Last May, Renault included the Blue dCi 100 hp in the catalog of the Clio after several months without a diesel offer. The engine replaces the two versions of 85 and 115 hp, which officiated until the end of 2020. Until then it was only available on the high-end Intens finish and on the Business, reserved for professionals, at prices of 23 € 500 and € 21,500. From now on, this diesel engine is also offered on the special Limited series, at a slightly more affordable price.
Clio Limited from 21,450 €
On the Limited series, the Blue dCi of the Clio is in fact displayed from € 21,450. This is € 2,050 less than for the Intens. As on the other two finishes, the 100 hp diesel is necessarily associated with a six-speed manual transmission. Renault announces CO emissions2 of 108 g / km and a combined consumption of 4.1 l / 100 km on the WLTP cycle.
Since the last big update in June, the Clio has again undergone some changes. The chic Initiale Paris finish has disappeared from the catalog, and it is now the RS Line, with a more sporty look, which is playing its part while awaiting the arrival of the special Lutecia series, scheduled for September. Prices change little, except for the Intens and RS Line finishes, which cost between 150 and 600 € depending on the engine.
