There are first images of the new Pixel Watch after someone left it in a restaurant.
History repeats itself a bit. Because leaving a new device behind (presumably to leak it), has happened before. In 2010, it was Gray Powell who left a prototype iPhone 4 in a bar in Redwood City, California. So now another prototype has leaked in the same way.
Prototype Pixel Watch
Last weekend shared Android Central photos of Google’s long-rumored smartwatch. The photos confirm that the Pixel Watch will have a round design with minimal screen bezels. It also looks like the wearable is attached directly to the case.
This with a locking mechanism that is reminiscent of the design Fitbit uses with the Versa and Sense smartwatches. This is not entirely coincidental, the company was acquired by Google last year. The device has a single button next to the crown and what appears to be a microphone or altimeter port. On the back you see a heart rate sensor, which is completely in with these types of watches.
Announcement
The watch is not finished yet. Or at least not yet ready to sell en masse. According to a report that leaker Jon Prosser published in January, Google will announce the Pixel Watch on May 26. So wait another month. The company recently filed for a trademark for the Pixel Watch name.
