“Cancer patients and former cancer patients do not have tractors to invade Paris, do not block highways, do not lay siege to assemblies. And yet, they represent hundreds of thousands of citizens who demand equal treatment facing the loan Hundreds of thousands of citizens who have fought against the disease and want to free themselves from this “cancer criminal record” which pursues them up to fifteen years after their recovery, prevents them from borrowing, impoverishes, isolates them”.
On the occasion of this month of Pink October which is beginning and a few days before the discussion on the amendments creating a right to banking oblivion for former cancer patients, the magazine “Rose magazine” intends to call on elected officials to they vote in favor of this right to be forgotten.
The magazine has therefore gathered on its platform video.rosemagazine.fr films of dozens of women who are fighting against cancer and who say “To suffer, one cancer is enough!”
Women who demand neither subsidy nor pity, just the right to lead their own life, asking that the right to be forgotten be open to children, teenagers and recovered adults and not only to sick children under 15 like envisaged in the health law.
To relay their call, a hashtag has been created: #droitaloublicancer
