The shortage of semiconductors does not escape the Peugeot 308. In its GT and GT Pack finishes, the Sochaux compact sedan trades in its i-Cockpit 3D for more traditional digital instrumentation. A discount of €300 will be paid to the customer if this downgrading is accepted.
New shortage of meters at Peugeot. In 2021, the old 308 had skipped its digital instrumentation. In March 2022, it is the turn of the new generation of the compact lion sedan to exempt itself. On the other hand, this time, no return to the needles.

Available only on the GT and GT Pack finishes, the i-Cockpit 3D handset temporarily disappears from the 308 due to the semiconductor crisis. Instead of the latter, we find the traditional digital instrumentation (2D) displayed on a 10-inch panel; the one fitted as standard on the entry-level Active Pack. If the customer accepts this change, Peugeot will then pay him €300 in the form of a discount. Otherwise, it will have to wait for a compliant production during the month of April. In terms of delivery times, this translates into an appointment set for the months of September and October depending on the engines.
