To be approved, training centers must now meet 24 criteria, defined by osteopaths, doctors and physiotherapists. The list of approved establishments is based on texts which define both the content of training and the organization of establishments.
Among the criteria taken into account by the reform, the duration of the valid course is now longer. There must be a minimum of 4,860 hours of lessons, ie 2,200 more than before. Training in clinical practice is also more demanding, as is the level of trainers and their number.
