Preparation
- Peel and slice the onions.
- Heat the oil in a casserole dish and brown the onions over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the sugar, honey, bay leaf and banyuls.
- Reduce the heat and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
- Toast the pine nuts in a non-stick pan without fat then add them at the last minute to the preparation.
- Pour the jam into the jars, close them and then turn them over.
