A new station has been added to The Boring Company tunnel in Las Vegas.
The tunnel of The Boring Company that runs under Las Vegas has been around for a while. However, a new station has now been added to the route. That makes navigating the American gambling city even easier.
The station is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It doesn’t stop here. The ambition is to expand The Boring Company’s Las Vegas network to eventually 55 stops. It’s starting to look a lot like a traditional subway!
In 2019, Elon Musk’s The Boring Company began construction of the tunnel in the Nevada gambling town. It seemed like a bizarre idea at the time, but now they are no longer surprised in Vegas. Musk devised this construction to enable fast travel in a city without having to stand in an annoying traffic jam.
Since April 2022 it is possible to use the tunnel in Las Vegas. The network can transport about 575 people per hour. Once everything is running properly, the intention is that thousands of people per hour can be transported through the tunnel. †via Engadget†
