DS opens orders for its DS4 with a price range ranging from € 29,200 to € 51,500. The top-of-the-range compact sedan has a catalog of nine finishes displaying different atmospheres, and five engines, including a plug-in hybrid of 225 hp.
New step for the DS4: after the presentation of the model at the beginning of February, after the photoshoots and the static oppositions against its rivals, after the officialization of the limited launch edition La Première, the time has come to announce the range prices. It is now possible to order the new French compact, however its deliveries are not expected before the end of the year.

The DS4 stands out for its style
This new DS4 is in line with the brand’s models with a very personal style, featuring perfectly recognizable graphic details. The chrome is however much more discreet than on the first productions of DS Automobiles. The interior presentation is both elegant and, for once, ergonomic. A touchpad is placed between the front passengers: it is used to remotely control the infotainment system.
Only in auto box
For the mechanical part, the new generation DS4 is based on the EMP2 V3 platform, the same one that will be used by the Peugeot 308 III. It allows to integrate an electric module for the plug-in hybrid version (225 hp). The range is completed by petrol offers (130, 180 and 225 hp) and a diesel proposal (130 hp). All engines are associated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. During its career, the DS4 will convert to electric in 2024.
DS4 range: spoiled for choice
The range consists of nine finishes, each belonging to an ambience:
- Entry level: Bastille and Bastille +
- Sporty atmosphere: Performance Line and Performance Line +
- Elegant atmosphere: Trocadero, Rivoli, La Première
- Adventure atmosphere: Cross Trocadéro, Cross Rivoli
The exterior and interior presentations of these atmospheres are specific: fabric for the entry-level offers, Alcantara for the dynamic versions, leather for the high-end. To note that the Cross versions are distinguished by exterior protection elements, but they retain the same ground clearance.

DS4 and DS4 Cross prices (May 2021)
The prices of the new generation DS 4 range from € 29,200 to € 51,500. They are not so far from those of the DS 3 Crossback which nevertheless navigates the lower segment of urban SUVs. The majority of the prices of the city car are lower than those of the compact (with equivalent engines and similar finishes), but it is possible that the DS 3 Crossback gets intoxicated. So, in Performance Line finish, despite its 155 hp block, its price is 400 € higher than that of the DS4 with 180 hp…
