May 13, 1998 – The New Brunswick Department of Higher Education and Labor is currently carrying out a market study on the training project in alternative health approaches put forward by the Campbelton Community College.
The project, which could start as quickly as in September 1998, consists of training covering basic knowledge in health sciences, followed by specializations in massage therapy, naturopathy, helping relationship or energy therapy. The program, conceived initially as a part-time training over three years, is primarily aimed at an adult clientele and would award a diploma of “practitioner in alternative medicine”, according to Mr. Claude Gagné, main instigator of the project and professor at the College. community.
