Sony’s LinkBuds are completely wireless earbuds with a special design. There is a round hole in each cap, so that the ear canal remains free.
You do hear music, but at the same time you are not completely cut off from the outside world. So you can just have a chat and during a run you can still hear the other traffic around you.
Trend setter?
We often see a sound-transmitting (ambient sound) mode with the more expensive caps and headphones, but normally this is a software trick. The LinkBuds are one of a kind in this regard – would other brands follow?
