The A-class collides with the trailer of a tractor
During a test drive, you want to thoroughly test a car to see if everything works. There are exceptions, for example the airbags. If there are no warning lights on, you better assume they do. Yesterday things went a little differently in Waalwijk. A test drive at a roundabout turned into a crash test when the driver encountered a tractor with a trailer. According to Broadcasting Brabant the ‘fast Mercedes’ had only driven 200 meters.
Under the Facebook post of Broadcasting Brabant someone responds: ‘I am the driver in the Mercedes. I have caused no accident; I drove on the outer lane of the roundabout, and the tractor on the inner one. The tractor landed on my side of the road and the trailer landed on my car.’ So it seems that the Mercedes driver has had a lot of bad luck.
The fire brigade had to come to the scene to free the driver from the Mercedes. The potential customer was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The Mercedes A-class in question is an A250 with 224 hp. Not the fastest from the Mercedes range, but certainly not a slow car. The asking price of the Mercedes before the accident was more than 41,000 euros.
