Addict’Aide, a virtual village dedicated to all forms of addiction was launched on April 6.
According to figures from Actions Addictions, at the origin of the project, 20% of mortality is linked to addictions.
Created with the aim of connecting patients, families, victims, professionals and scientists, this collaborative platform pools the data of 60 players involved in the fight against addictions.
How it works ?
Addict’Aide notably offers questionnaires which make it possible to evaluate the behavior of the Internet user in the face of such or such addictive object (tobacco, alcohol, shopping, sex, etc.).
Through the houses that make up the village of addictions, the platform provides Internet users with complete information on addiction and directs them to the appropriate structures.
Each of the houses is aimed at a specific audience and answers different questions:
- The information, prevention and identification center: to understand and assess addictions.
- The house of public authorities: for figures, statistics or legal texts.
- The users ‘and patients’ center: to get in touch with the appropriate structures.
- The house of patient associations: to find out about mutual aid associations between patients.
- The family house: space dedicated to the families of people affected by an addiction.
- The youth center: space dedicated to young people who wish to better understand, discuss or get help.
- Businesses and occupational health: to find out more about addictions in the workplace.
- The house of health professionals: dedicated to the various players in the care of addictions.
- The research center: to find out about the latest research on addictions.
- The press house: for all the news on addictions.
- The Actions Addictions fund: to find out more about the Actions Addictions association.
