The 55th edition of the leisure vehicle show opens its doors on Saturday September 25 and is held until Sunday October 3 in the Bourget exhibition center (93) north of Paris. The last edition dates back to 2019, that of last year was canceled almost at the last minute due to a pandemic.

Motorhomes, a market up 25%
Outdoor recreation is on the rise and many have chosen the motorhome as a mode of transport for their vacations. The motorhome market is up 25% between 2020 and 2021 for new vehicles and increased by 18% for used vehicles. It rakes very wide between the campervan and motorhome capable of carrying your car. In France, there are officially 559,800 motorhomes in circulation and 1.6 million followers. If we expand to Europe, the figures are respectively 2.4 million units for 5 million motorhome operators.
French manufacturers in the spotlight
Created in 1966, the leisure vehicle show brings together more than 200 exhibitors this year over an area of 200,000 m2. We went there before the opening to the public and we have targeted all the vans in the show. A very popular format for its maneuverability and price affordability. This year, the French brands Trigano, Rapido, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and Pilote are in the news. Rapido has created two specialized labels like Campérêve and Dreamer. Question budget, it takes between 45,000 and 60,000 € for a lift-top van and, depending on the brand, delivery times are between 6 and 8 months.
