Today, June 30, is the date of the last stage of deconfinement in France. Most of the restrictions have been lifted, but there are still a few bans. What remains obligatory?
The end of gauges
It was on this date that the curfew was to end. However, in the face of the receding coronavirus epidemic, the government decided to end this measure on June 20, as did the wearing of a mask outside a few days earlier. From June 30, it is possible to gather outside, but also inside bars and restaurants, thanks to a reinforced sanitary protocol. This is also the case for company restaurants. However, movement inside the restaurant must be restricted. Therefore, payment is made at the table and consumption at the bar remains prohibited for the moment. The limit on the number of people has also been lifted in markets and shops. Regarding cinemas, theaters, performance halls, trade fairs and even fairs, the gauges are disappearing. However, there is a maximum ceiling for attending a concert, established by the prefect. The gauges also stop weddings, PACS or burials as well in places of worship.
What is changing regarding leisure?
From Wednesday, it is possible to indulge in leisure activities, such as going to the casino, bowling or walking in zoos without limiting the number of people. The Ministry of the Economy specifies, in its deconfinement calendar, that the concerts can again welcome standing public from June 30. Some conditions are still required, such as a welcome gauge limited to 75% indoors. The health pass is essential to attend a concert, from 1,000 spectators. As for nightclubs, the reopening is scheduled for July 9, provided you can present the health pass and activate the TousAntiCovid application.
Wearing a mask indoors
The obligation to wear a mask remains in force in closed environments such as shops or public transport as well as at work. It is also possible to do without the mask outdoors since June 17, although there are some exceptions. Indeed, for events bringing together less than 1,000 people without a health pass, the mask will be compulsory. For events where the number of spectators is greater than 1,000 and requiring the health pass, wearing a mask is recommended.
