The German company Partisan Motors has unveiled the first Lada Niva Legend assembled in its workshops. It is slightly different from the Russian version. The model celebrates 50 years of the Volga plant (Russia) and will be produced in 50 copies. His price ? € 19,900.
Still offered in Russia under the name Niva Legend, the one that was also called Lada 4×4 is more imported in Europe due to too strict environmental standards. To meet the demand of certain Germans fond of rustic 4x4s, the founder of Partisan Motors, Juri Postnikov, has been working for a year on the project of a Niva assembled and sold locally. Today, the German company announces that the first model has just been completed.
Some specificities specific to the German Lada Niva
Assembled in the Partisan Motors workshops in Magdeburg, Germany, this Lada Niva adopts some specificities compared to the Russian version: alloy rims, ground clearance revised, BF Goodrich 215/65 R16 tires, running boards and protective elements in black plastic, roof bars or even snorkel on the windscreen pillar. Inside, the German Niva has black leatherette upholstery with red stitching. A specific numbered plate and a manufacturer’s certificate complete the equipment.
This Niva “50th Anniversary Limited Edition” is, as its name suggests, limited to 50 copies to celebrate the 50 years of the Russian factory of AvtoVAZ in Volga. It will be offered in Germany through the dealer Fahrzeuge Bögelsack Service und Verkauf, located in Halberstadt, halfway between Hanover and Leipzig. As for the price, it is much higher than that of the Russian version: 19,900 € including tax, against barely 7,600 € (650,000 rubles) in Russia.
