The Niro crossover sees its prices increase at the start of 2021. Thus, its simple hybrid offer starts at € 29,190, while the plug-in version appears from € 36,190. For the 100% electric model, e-Niro, the entry ticket starts at € 37,100.
Kia is taking advantage of the new year to increase prices for its entire catalog. And the Niro is no exception to this rule: its hybrid, plug-in and 100% electric versions are all affected.
The hybrid Niro clan
On the market, the Korean crossover is one of those rare models to be offered only in electrified versions. The Niro Hybrid combines a 105 hp four-cylinder petrol engine with a 32 kW (43.5 hp) electric motor. The latter is powered by a battery with a capacity of 1.6 kWh. A cut above, the Niro plug-in hybrid with the same thermal block develops 105 hp. On the other hand, the electric machine now has a power of 44.5 kW (60.5 hp) and it is powered by a larger battery with a capacity of 8.9 kWh. This allows the builder to announce range in electric mode ranging from 49 km (WLTP combined cycle) to 65 km (WLTP urban cycle). In both cases, the cumulative power is 141 hp, and the transmission is controlled by a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Kia e-Niro: the 100% electric offer
The third version, e-Niro, is fully electric and comes in two offers. The first has a 100 kW (136 hp) electromotor powered by a 39.2 kWh battery, for a range ranging from 289 km (WLPT combined cycle) to 405 km (WLTP urban cycle). The second receives a 150 kW (204 hp) block powered by a 64 kWh battery offering a range of 455 km (WLTP combined cycle) to 615 km (WLTP urban cycle).

Niro Hybrid Price (2021)
With the increase to 1er January 2021, the prices of the Niro hybrid are now between € 29,190 and € 35,190. It’s here only variation to not be able to have the slightest bonus.

E-Niro Award (2021)
As for the electric range, it stretches from 37,100 to 47,100 €. Alone the versions displayed below the € 45,000 bar may benefit from the maximum bonus of € 7,000 (€ 6,000 from 1er July). The others will only be entitled to a bonus of € 3,000 (€ 2,000 from the 1er July).
