It’s a face, those burst veins in my eyes. I went to the ophthalmologist and general practitioner and got eye drops, but this does not solve the problem. Is there anything else I can do? I am 77 years old and have had cataract treatment.

Unfortunately, not much can be done about this. The problem lies in the construction of very vulnerable small veins that quickly break. It is not harmful, but can indeed look annoying. The cataract surgery has nothing to do with it. You can try to prevent irritation from dry eyes with artificial tears, but apparently that did not help you.
