Health tips
This mollusk is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals.
The zinc it provides helps in the absorption of antioxidants (such as vitamin A) which protect the eye while selenium promotes the absorption of antioxidants (especially vitamin E) to prevent eye diseases.
The oyster also has the advantage of providing a large amount of Omega 3 fatty acids which prevent many diseases while reducing the risk of
AMD. These minerals and vitamins maintain the good quality of the tear film.
