The pharmaceutical group Wyeth, in collaboration with the French association of hemophiliacs is launching an information campaign from September 30 until the end of October. A hemophilia information bus will be on the roads of Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Rouen, Marseille and Lille and will meet people with hemophilia and their families. The aim is to make the people concerned aware of the changes linked to the disease, to answer their questions and to help them improve their daily lives.
What is hemophilia? Hemophilia is a rare but serious genetic disease linked to an abnormality in a sex chromosome, which causes blood clotting disorders and can cause internal bleeding, which is sometimes fatal.
