Segway has released the Ninebot Engine Speaker as an accessory for your scooter or Ninebot. It’s pretty neat.
You can know today’s Segway from the electric scooters (steps) and the Ninebot Gokart. Both vehicles are fully electric. That has a drawback. The experience is nice on such a thing, but not complete. You’re missing a bit of sound, aren’t you? They found them at Segway too, that’s why they came up with the Ninebot Engine Speaker.
This Bluetooth speaker can be used as an accessory to provide your vehicle with sound. Thanks to a special mount, this speaker fits perfectly on your scooter or Ninebot kart. With this product you can simulate different engine sounds. Suddenly your Segway sounds like a single-cylinder, twin-cylinder, V8 or even a V12.
The speaker has a 2,200mAh large battery. Segway says the Bluetooth speaker can last up to 23 hours on a full charge. Charging is via USB-C. Thanks to an IP55 rating, the device is also dust and water resistant. So if you accidentally drift through a puddle, the speaker is not immediately broken.
If you don’t feel like engine noises, you can also use the Ninebot Engine Speaker as a radio. The smartphone can be connected via Bluetooth to play your own music. The speaker is now available in the online Segway Store for a price of $150.
