The Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office in fact decided, at the beginning of the afternoon, to open a preliminary investigation, that is to say a judicial investigation, in order to determine whether the substitution of one drug by another is due. technical error, human error or malicious act.
For the moment, inspectors from the National Medicines Safety Agency (ANSM) who are investigating the Sens factories of the Israeli laboratory Teva have not been able to determine the reasons for this packaging error and have still not found how. zopiclone sleeping tablets, from Spain, were found instead of furosemide diuretic tablets, manufactured in Hungary and packaged in the Sens factory.
