It becomes clear that computer translations are not quite what we would like to be when we search the Dutch App Store for writer. There we read: Dead writers block for. Yes, yes… People probably mean something by ‘writer’s block’; the phenomenon that as a writer you sometimes do not know how to proceed. Writr tries to help with that, at least when you need to write lyrics in rhyme. Writr gives you rhymes and near-rhymes for your English poems and lyrics, chansons, schlagers and canciónes, but not yet for your next tearjerker or Nederrap.
