Free download – Snipaste – A quirky screen grabber

In addition to Windows’ own PrintScreen function, there are many programs to take screenshots with a lot more functionality. One of the newest we came across in that genre is snipe, a tip from one of our readers. Of course you can capture pieces of screen, also across multiple screens. And of course you can annotate or (for privacy reasons) make those clippings unreadable in all sorts of ways. But perhaps the most special feature of Snipaste is that you can display your clippings as a floating window and that opens up a whole range of interesting possibilities.
