Creating your own rhythms for AutoDrum (see elsewhere on these pages) requires a midi sequencer, and the creator of that program has thought of that. The beauty of Japanese soil is called Sekaiju and that is a very versatile beast. Sekaiju lets you record music in real time, but you can also input it via piano roll or notation (meaning you can also convert existing midi files to notes). All music that you create or open in the program can be played via various internal instruments (including Korg and Yamaha), but of course also sent to external devices.
Sekaiju is here to download.
