According to some musicologists, a lot of technical skills have been preserved for pop music thanks to The Beatles. There is therefore no band that has been written about so much. Perhaps most interestingly, that was done by musicologist Alan W. Pollack who analyzed and commented on all of John, Paul, George and Ringo’s songs under the title Notes On The Beatles.
