Music programs are TV or radio broadcasts where music is played or software to create or play music. ChuckK however, gives the word a whole new meaning. ChucK is a programming system for making (experimental) music. The language used has everything on board to produce sounds, play samples and control midi instruments. In ChucK you create small programs that you send to a virtual machine where they can be run with several people at the same time. That way you can create complete pieces and even performances that you can adapt live.
