In the previous Voor Nop we talked about an app to recognize birds, but besides the feathered friends there are of course many other animal species in our country (although there are fewer and fewer). A nice app to find out more about that is animal finder. This app – an initiative of Naturalis – contains information worth knowing about almost 400 animals that occur in our country. If you see an unknown animal, you can try to determine it on the basis of criteria such as size, color or behavior. In addition to the app, there is a website of the same name (www.dierenzoeker.nl).
