Cracotte chocolate hazelnuts ended up by mistake in some packages of Cracotte chocolate biscuits of the Lu brand, announced the agri-food group Mondelez International Monday, December 16. The fault is a conditioning problem. The affected products have been recalled. This error “poses a risk for people allergic to hazelnuts”, explains the industrialist. However, the product does not present any risk for consumers who do not suffer from allergies.
The affected product is Lu Cracotte Chocolate 200G bearing a minimum durability date (DDM) until June 30, 2020 inclusive. The batch code is “OVE1293742”. Mondelez therefore asks people allergic to hazelnuts who have bought it not to eat it and to bring it back to the point of sale with the receipt. If in doubt, they are invited to contact consumer service on 09 69 39 79 79.
