The flu has not yet arrived, but the vaccination campaign has indeed started in Quebec. As every year, those most at risk will be able to be vaccinated for free, as the government advertising campaign which has just started reminds us opportunely.
“Stay away from the flu” says public health protection directorate
This concerns in particular young children up to two years old, pregnant women, people with chronic pathologies and seniors from 60 years old. Health professionals are also advised to be vaccinated.
Not only these people can be vaccinated for free, but so can their relatives, in order to increase the effectiveness of the prevention campaign, as recalled by the Minister of Public Health, Lucie Charlebois, during a presentation of the 2017-2018 device to the press.
Quebec: two million doses of flu vaccines for the most vulnerable
