Until now, Fitbit’s Charge bands were equipped with a black and white screen. The new Fitbit Charge 5, on the other hand, has a color screen.
The screen also has an optional always-on mode. The time, incoming notifications and fitness data are visible at a glance. According to the manufacturer, this does have an impact on the battery life, which is otherwise a maximum of seven days.
Measuring is sweating
Like the previous Fitbit Sense, the Charge 5 has a so-called eda sensor on board. It analyzes the swede on your skin (or electrodermal activity) to map your stress level. GPS is also present.
The Fitbit Charge 5 is sold for 179.95 euros.
