Adjoining the assembly plant and the legendary Fiorano circuit, the Ferrari museum in Maranello opened its doors to us for an almost private visit. Very first Ferraris, competition models, one-offs, Hypercar exhibition: follow us to heaven on earth.
Emilia Romagna. A region of Italy that deserves a pilgrimage for all believers of motorized goddesses: Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Maserati in Modena, Ferrari in Maranello, or as many prestigious coats of arms located a few kilometers apart. Ferrari alone has two museums in the region. The first is located in Modena, in the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, and focuses on the life of the Commandatore. The second stands in Maranello, 20 kilometers away, in the true cradle of contemporary Ferraris (assembly plant and development circuit are nearby!) And prefers to exhibit the models on a prancing horse. This is the one we will walk on today.
Proof that the automobile is not buried in the hearts of enthusiasts, the number of visitors to the Ferrari museum continues to grow: 350,000 in 2017, 380,000 in 2018, 400,000 in 2019, before a period of 2020-2021 logically served by successive closures linked to the health crisis. Far from falling asleep on its formidable aura, the museum regularly renews its collections through temporary exhibitions relating to the 50 years of Michaël Schumacher, the 90 years of Ferrari, and recently hypercars. Admiring the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari in one room doesn’t happen every day. And, rather than describing them imperfectly in writing, we invite you to admire these gems in our captioned slideshow. Good visit !
