Announced already a year ago, the arrival at the pharmacy of Vitaros, a cream for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, is imminent. From Monday June 1, it will be possible to obtain (on prescription) this cream from the Majorelle pharmaceutical laboratory, indicated for “men from 18 years old, in the treatment of erectile dysfunction defined by the inability to achieve or maintain a sufficient erection of the penis for satisfactory sexual performance. “
Presented as an alternative to sildenafil tablets (such as Viagra), this alprostadil-based cream dilates the penile vessels. A drop of product is placed above the opening (the meatus) at the end of the penis held vertically. The effect appears in the following 5 to 30 minutes and its duration, about one to two hours, is variable from one patient to another, specifies the official medical notice. It should be used with a latex condom.
