The Auchan brand recalls two batches of reblochon contaminated with the E.coli bacteria.
Be careful, contaminated reblochon. The supermarket chain Auchan recalls batches of reblochon, after the presence of the Escherichia col bacteria has been demonstrated during a bacteriological check. As a precaution, the affected lots were removed from the shelves, but some were able to be marketed and are in customers’ refrigerators.
This is Reblochon fermier de Savoie AOP, sold under the brand “Reblochon fermier bergère” between 8 and 28 October 2016, on the cut and self-service shelves. It can lead to severe kidney complications in young children. If you notice these symptoms, it is advisable to consult a doctor promptly, telling him that this product has been swallowed.
The sign indicates that you should not eat this reblochon. Customers are invited to return the offending product to the point of sale for a refund. More information from the manufacturer on 04.50.02.05.60.
