The electric version of the DS3 Crossback gains 21 km of autonomy in the WLTP cycle to officially reach 341 km on a charge, without modification of its battery or its engine. The small premium “zero emission” SUV is priced at € 37,600.
Like the Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 as well as the Opel Corsa-e and Mokka-e with which it shares its architecture and its powertrain, DS 3 Crossback E-Tense benefits from increased range. This is of the order of 7% in the mixed WLTP homologation cycle. This improvement is not only made possible by a software update. It therefore only concerns new copies of the small electric SUV and is not applicable to cars that have already left the assembly lines.

Unchanged power
The 50 kWh (46.2 kWh net) lithium-ion battery and 136 hp electric motor remain unchanged. Like his “cousins” then, the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense benefits from a reduction gearbox with a modified gear ratio in its transmission as well as a revised heat pump allowing more efficient management of heating and air conditioning thanks to the addition of a hygrometer. New class A tires with lower rolling resistance, and powertrain control software adapted to these developments, complete the range. The autonomy of the urban SUV thus goes from 320 km to 341 km officially.

€ 37,600
After watching his prizes yo-yoing over the past year, the DS3 Crossback E-Tense currently starts at € 37,600 excluding the € 6,000 ecological bonus. Like the thermal DS3 Crossbacks, its finishes now bear the name of Paris districts, with the exception of the Performance Line versions. A more substantial evolution of the DS 3 Crossback, concerning its design in particular, is expected for 2022 with the restyling of the model.
