A team of caregivers have invented a new medical tool to remove a two-foot dildo stuck in a patient’s rectum.
“I remember, thirty years ago, I had to send a patient to the OR who had a one liter bottle of Perrier stuck in the rectum”, remembers Doctor Philippe Montereau. “As at the time, these things were taboo, the young man explained to me that he had fallen directly on the bottle, which was at the edge of the football field on which he was playing a match”, says the practitioner. .
Dies and mentalities have since been released. Godmichet, fruits, vegetables, telephones… doctors must redouble their inventiveness to remove objects that have remained stuck in the rectum of their patients. In Italy, Dr. Lorenzo Dioscoridi, specializing in endoscopy, has thus developed a new tool to release a rubber dildo of 60 centimeters from a anus (see radio above).
Slight pain
On his way to the emergency room, a 31-year-old man told the medical team that he was unable to remove it on his own. In this situation for 24 hours, the patient felt good, feeling only slight pain.
To avoid passing it over the pool table, Lorenzo Dioscoridi’s team first attempted to remove the enormous object with existing methods, without success. The caregivers then had the idea of making a kind of lasso, rigid enough to catch the sex toy (see the photo below). A medical wire pushed through a colorectal stent finally did the trick, and the patient was able to return home the same day, without further complications. Doctors believe that this new technique should be perpetuated to handle particularly large objects.

Perforate the anus or rectum
The annual review of National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) indicates that in 2016, caregivers had to remove from the rectum of unwary patients a roll of tape, 10 broken pencils, a plastic bottle of melatonin, a kitchen timer, a curtain rod, an ice pick, a hammer , game tokens, a decorative pumpkin, a bowling pin, a broomstick, a baseball bat and a salt shaker.
Remember that, while everyone is of course free to lead their sex life as they wish, inserting an excessively large object into the anus can be dangerous for health. By getting stuck, the lump prevents going to the toilet, can puncture the anus or rectum and cause serious infections.
