Have you just reported nausea, diarrhea, or fever? It may be from spices you ingested, according to the Conso Reminder websitewhich recalled pots of the Marius Bernard brand.
Guacamole mix, gingerbread mix, fish mix, or simple ground ginger could be contaminated with Bacillus cereus bacteria. The latter would be found more precisely in powdered ginger.
Minor infections
The risk ? It is to be downright ill, with stomach aches, vomiting within 5 hours of consuming the spice, ornausea and fever that would occur slightly later, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. after the meal.
But as the site of the The Minister of Agriculture, these bacteria are responsible for minor side effects. “These bacteria are usually found in the environment: soil, water, plants… Thus the most frequently contaminated foods are plants such as rice, vegetables, potatoes, spices…” is it precise. In general, within 12 to 24 hours, the symptoms stop naturally.
The lots, sold in all between May 18 and December 8, have been recalled, as indicated in the note published by Rappel Conso. But if you still have it at home, it is better to get rid of it.
