To support patients who have suffered financial or bodily harm after following dental care in one of Dentexia’s low-cost centres, the Ministry of Health has set up a toll-free number via the regional health agencies (ARS) of Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Ile- of France.
Since yesterday, it is possible to call from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 0 800 100 378 in order to be accompanied and possibly directed to the interlocutor who will be able to respond to the requests of injured patients.
No emergency funds released
On the other hand, the two other requests of the Collective of the victims of Dentexia, which gathers 2200 victims, obtained an end of inadmissibility on behalf of the ministry. This group demanded the release of an exceptional relief fund while waiting for insurance to take over, and the possibility for patients to be able to obtain legal expertise so that other practitioners agree to finish their care. Because without legal expertise, no dental practitioner agrees to treat patients, under penalty of being held jointly responsible.
