PACA and Languedoc-Roussillon are the most affected regions
In Provence-Alpes-Côté d’Azur, the Regional Health Agency confirms 5 imported cases of dengue (Alpes-Maritimes, Var and Vaucluse) and 6 imported cases of chikungunya (Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Alpes-Maritimes) . To date, says the Agency, there are no indigenous cases of dengue or chikungunya in the region.
The second most affected region, Languedoc-Roussillon, which has 5 imported cases of chikungunya. Next comes the Midi-Pyrénées region with 1 case of dengue and 3 of chikungunya. A wave of new cases expected in Aude
