The government has decided to bring forward the date on which all French people over the age of 18, without conditions, can be vaccinated. It will be May 31st and not June 15th as originally planned. As of today, May 27, it is possible to make an appointment to be vaccinated against Covid-19 from May 31.
Online appointment
Since 11 a.m., French adults can make an appointment online to receive their first injection of the messenger RNA vaccine against the coronavirus from May 31. To do this, you have to go to the different platforms in order to choose the center closest to your home and to block an appointment slot. One of the giants, the Doctolib site, specified that some “ 28 million adults are eligible for vaccination (…) for an average of 500,000 appointments available each day “.
This is why the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, specified that “ reservations will be progressive, new slots [seront] posted every day on the different platforms “. Indeed, the entire adult population cannot be vaccinated at the same time.
He also completed by reminding that people who are over 50 and who are eligible can, of course, continue to make an appointment.
