Since June 25, 2021, people vaccinated against Covid-19 can request a “certificate of vaccination certified in European format“.
And it is possible to retrieve a dematerialized certificate on the Health Insurance website. To do this, go to the website attestation-vaccin.ameli.fr.
To obtain the certificate, you must identify yourself on the site with FranceConnect, an authentication service that allows access to many online public services from a unique username and password.
What does this document contain? The surname and first name of the person vaccinated, their date of birth, the name of the vaccine used, the number of injections, the date of the last injection and the person’s vaccination status (complete vaccination or not).
There are also two electronic seals: the first (on which it is written “2D-DOC”) allows to certify the document and to avoid counterfeits, the second (a QR Code, under which it is written “Flash to add in All AntiCovid”) allows to obtain a digital version of the attestation in the All AntiCovid application (in the “Notebook” tab).
Good to know : vaccinated people now receive an SMS (from the SI-DEP portal) which allows the certificate to be imported into the Tous AntiCovid app – just follow the instructions contained in the text message.
I was vaccinated before May 3, 2021: how can I get my vaccination certificate? All you have to do is connect to the Health Insurance teleservice to retrieve your old vaccination certificates. In case of questions, we can call 0 800 08 71 48, a “free helpline“.
Note: people with a complete vaccination cycle who registered their certificate in the TousAntiCovid application before June 25 do not need to get a new one: from July 1, TousAntiCovid will be equipped with a feature to automatically convert their QRcode to the European standard.
Good news : “for people who do not master digital tools or who do not have access to them, theHealth Insurance may send their certified vaccination certificate by mail“. However, it will be necessary to request it.
