Covid-19: where is the epidemic in France?
Three years after the first official death linked to Covid-19, the global toll of the pandemic stands at 6.7 million deaths according to recent data from the University of Oxford.
“This week, indicators of acute respiratory infections were on the rise in community medicine and hospitals for all ages,” indicates Santé Publique France in its latest report on the subject. “The syndromic indicators of Covid-19 were decreasing in the city and in hospitals for all ages, but the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater remained at a high level. continues the health agency.
Furthermore, flu activity is still increasing sharply in France and particularly in hospitals. “The bronchiolitis epidemic is also still ongoing in our country, with a stabilization of syndromic indicators in the city and a decrease in the hospital,” conclude the experts.
