October 12, 2012 – Various cuts of meat from beef produced by the Alberta company XL Foods inc. have been the subject of a recall since last September. The presence of the bacteria Escherichia coli O157: H7 has been found in these foods. Initially affecting the population of the west of the country only, all Canadians are now affected by the advisory issued by the CFIA.
