A French company has developed a new kind of swimsuit. Linked to an application, it is able to alert when exposure to the sun is too long.
After the connected plate supposed to regulate our food and the smart t-shirt capable of sending the variations in our heart rate directly to a smartphone, the Alsatian company Spinali Design has just developed the connected swimsuit.
Equipped with ultraviolet detectors, its mission is to monitor the exposure of our skin to the sun via an application directly installed on a smartphone (available on Android and IOS).
In these jerseys are integrated sun sensors of only two centimeters. Thanks to the application, a message will be immediately sent in the event of danger to the exposed person. The function, named Valentine, even allows the spouse to receive this message in order to be able to also raise the alert in case of need … Or to protect his partner by applying sunscreen!
It must be said that in this period of great sun and with the summer holidays looming, sun protection is essential to avoid serious sunburn, but above all to protect yourself from melanoma.
A 100% Made in France product
These models, which do not yet exist for men, are made of fabrics made in France. The sensors are manufactured in Saverne (Alsace), in partnership with French start-ups. The price of these jerseys should oscillate between 150 and 200 €.
