A good knowledge of the device
Unveiled this Thursday, the survey reveals that the vast majority of companies already offer health coverage to their employees, “with a view to the generalization of complementary health in the company”.
In figures, 71% of Very Small Enterprises (TPE), which have less than 10 employees, and 85% of SMEs (from 10 to 250 employees), ETI (between 251 and 5,000), GE (over 5,000 employees) already state that they offer health coverage to their employees (compared to 77 % for companies with more than 10 employees in 2010).
In fact, the health coverage rate increases each time depending on the size of the company: it is 67% for companies with 1 to 2 employees, 86% for companies with 6 to 9 employees, and 99% for companies with more than 500 employees.
In addition, companies already equipped have a good knowledge of the future device : 80% of VSEs and 87% of SMEs / ETI / GE have already heard of it. Companies that have not yet offered health coverage to their employees, i.e. 29% of VSEs and 15% of SMEs / ETIs / GEs, also state that they are well informed (84% and 96% respectively).
As a reminder, the complementary company health must cover the guarantees of a minimal care basket (full daily hospital rate in the event of hospitalization, dental costs “prostheses and orthodontics” up to 125% of the conventional rate, etc.).
Are employees’ opinions taken into account?
Finally, among the companies questioned, 47% of VSEs and SMEs / ETI / GE declare that they wish to freely choose the complementary organization and the health coverage that they will offer, “in particular in order to maintain their autonomy and to take into account the opinion of their employees ”.
41% of VSEs and 45% of SMEs / ETIs / GEs declare, for their part, that they will follow the recommendation of the organization which will be chosen by their professional branch.
